The Company was founded in 1968 and incorporated in 1976. In the early years, Interstate specialized in electrical contracts for military and industrial clients.  Over the years, mechanical expertise was added and the geographic area served expanded to all of northern California. As the market place has continued to change, Interstate Construction, Inc. has followed the changes closely.  The company has evolved with the changing utility deregulation market and now finds a large amount of its work performing underground transmission line installations for various utilities for the nine western states. Our familiarity with government contracting rules and procedures ensure effective information and documentation exchange
